Land Acquisition

Pooling member capital since 1963 to secure large tracts of land across Nairobi and Machakos.

Fair Subdivision

Each of 2,600+ members is entitled to a 6-acre parcel — surveyed, beaconed, and titled.

Title Deeds

Processing individual title deeds for members and their heirs, ensuring secure land tenure.

Legal Advocacy

Fighting fraudulent liquidation and cartel land-grabbing through courts and Parliament.

Built on Trust,
Rooted in Community.

Founded by farmers from Kangundo, Mwala, and Matungulu in Machakos County, Drumvale was born from a shared vision — ordinary people pooling savings to access land that would secure their families' futures. Over six decades, the society has grown into one of Kenya's most significant cooperative land trusts.

The society's master plan includes setting aside land for schools, hospitals, police posts, churches, cattle troughs, and environmental riparian reserves — building entire communities, not just parcelling land.

What Our Members Say

Long-standing members share what the society means to their families and why they continue fighting for their rightful land.

"My father joined this society in 1971 with nothing but hope and KSh 200. He passed before seeing his title deed, but I have continued in his name. This land is his legacy and I will never give it up to any cartel."

James M. Mutua
Second-generation member · Kangundo

"We invested our savings so our children could have land. When they came to liquidate us fraudulently, we refused to stay silent. The Senate hearings gave us hope that justice is still possible in this country."

Mary W. Nzioki
Founding member family · Mwala

"I visited the Kamulu plot last year and found strangers had put up structures. We have court orders, yet they remain. I am asking the government — how much more must ordinary Kenyans suffer for land they legally paid for?"

Peter K. Kioko
Member since 1988 · Matungulu

"The cooperative idea was beautiful — pooling together what we each could not afford alone to buy land for all. That spirit must not be defeated. We are not giving up and I tell my grandchildren the same."

Rose N. Mbatha
Third-generation member · Kangundo

"We had already planned which section would be the school, the church, the hospital. The whole community was going to grow here. The cartels stole more than land — they stole a future we had already mapped out together."
